  4. All the files on this disk are text files which can be copied to the printer,
  5. read with a file viewing utility such as LIST, or loaded into a word processor
  6. or text editor.

  8. The GUIDE.TXT file was originally written in 1984 and distributed to shareware
  9. authors in 1985 along with a survey and then rewritten with their input. It was
  10. updated again in January 1989 after being recommended in PC Magazine and Home
  11. Office magazine. Since then it has been updated fairly regularly as new
  12. information surfaces (mainly new sources of supplies, services and equipment).

  14. To read the files, type -READ.

  16. Use the cursor keys to view each file and press ESC to exit each file.

  18. The contents of this disk are distributed by PsL under the disk name of
  19. "Programmers' Guide" (disk #233).
